Thank You Front Page Magazine

We often hear the Communist Duck tell us of the brave Soviet Army that saved the planet from the evil Nazis. Mr B frequently points out that the Nazis were not too different from Commies. I point out that the Soviets were allies of the Nazis who got double crossed. The film documents this collaboration as well as points out that the oft cited 20,000,000 number includes communist butchery of civilians.

It is time to stop pretending that Communism is anything other than a criminal conspiracy with mental defective followers.

For all their militant talk of eternal struggles and such, the left actually rather sucks on the conventional battlefield. They're certainly near useless against enemies that shoot back. That's why both leftists tend to make war on unarmed and disarmed people and romanticize terrorism directed at civilians.

Russia was double cursed with the twin deleterious effects of both leftism and having Russian military planners.

Russia has the distinction of losing every war it ever fought by itself.

Who knows. If historically the Russian military wasn't always God's dictionary definition of incompetent, perhaps the various Russian governments over the last two centuries would have not been so apt to take out their innately leftist / Robespierrean inadequacies on their own people.

Beak, what article are you referring to?

All I can find is some insanity from Beamish's butt buddy John Hagee.

Beak, if you are interested in this topic you may want to try "Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin" by Timothy Snyder.

As usual, anyone with a pulse is way beyond Beamish and yourself. I believe Beamish also reads at a junior high level, like yourself.

Duck,
You must live just to comment on each and every of Beak's posts.

AOW, anyone who is so freaking stupid that he believes WW II could have been won without the Red Army deserves to be lampooned.

You fight several battles where your losses are more than America has incurred in its entire military history and history should at least remember accurately. And that was before we even entered the war.

Who's not remembering history accurately, genius?

You measure military success by ground taken and held and enemy forces destroyed. The Nazis were 1000 miles east of Berlin and kicking Russia's teeth in for the better part of two years.

Meanwhile the Americans and British were crossing the ocean, liberating North Africa and then marching across western Europe kicking Nazi ass while simultaneously fighting the Japanese on the other side of the planet.

While feeding the Red Army with airdrops flown through hostile skies over enemy territory. While bombing a path of dead Nazis for the Russians to cakewalk through so they'd stop cowering behind Stalingrad.

Believes WW2 could have been won without the Red Army? It was won without them, dipshit.

My take on it is we should have just allowed the Nazis and Russians to go at each other, giving the Russians just enough aid to keep them in the game long enough to die in greater numbers. We should have stayed out of it and focused on Japan. We could have beat Japan like a red-headed step child, pretty damn quickly, if we weren't having to divert so many resources to answer for Britain's great screw-up in aligning themselves with the Soviets. Once we took care of Japan, Russia would have been incinerated, its leaders dead, and the Germans would have been sufficiently weakened we could have taken the bastards out probably as quickly as we ended up taking them out.

But there's what should have been and there is what was, which is what happens when you have a war fought by politicians, especially by Democrats.

Duck,
I'm not referring to your lampooning.

I'm referring to you living just to throw barbs at Beak.

Is there ever a post of his that you don't comment on?

The Russian military leadership applied their innate leftist stupidity to warfare. Despite having 15 years notice from the publication of Mein Kampf that Hitler wanted to annex the Ukraine and was obviously building the military to do so by force, Stalin figured Nazi tanks rolling through the breadbasket would lower crop yields even more than Lysenkoism did. After all, it was hard for Stalin to overlook the common ground his leftist comrade Hitler had in seeking the Marxist "world without Jews."
